A: Where Worlds Part is a parallel-world mystery set in the World of Silence and the World of Echoes. It follows Rudra and Niya as they uncover how a single wrong choice in one reality can fracture the spirit across dimensions. The novel blends suspense, myth, and consequence, showing how echoes of memory and destiny ripple between worlds. It can be read as a stand-alone story or alongside The Vow Rewritten, the first part of the saga.

The inspiration came from my fascination with parallel universes and how choices shape identity. I have often wondered: what happens when a vow or decision in one world distorts the soul in another? Dreams, recurring motifs, and research into blurred realities gave me the framework. Writing Where Worlds Part was my way of exploring how silence hides secrets, echoes reveal truths, and the spirit itself can fracture when destiny is divided.

Q: You came to storytelling after retirement. What made this the book you wanted to publish?

A: I began writing seriously after retirement, when storytelling became both a creative outlet and a way to explore motifs that had lived with me for years. Where Worlds Part emerged from my fascination with parallel worlds and the consequences of choice. I wanted to show how a single wrong decision in one universe can fracture the spirit across dimensions. Publishing the book felt essential, not just to share a story, but to invite readers into a layered journey where silence, echoes, and destiny intertwine.

I am a retired professional turned digital creator and mythic storyteller. Through projects like EchoMap Journeys and the Book Lover’s Lounge, I blend YA, mythic, and spiritual crossover fiction with motif-driven branding. My writing often anchors itself in recurring motifs such as spirals, vows, and homecoming, and seeks to connect tradition with emotional memory. Q: Meghraj, the black horse, seems central to the book. What was it like bringing him to life?

A: Meghraj, the black horse with a white patch on his forehead, was both the most fun and the most challenging to write. He is not just an animal in Where Worlds Part. He is a symbol of destiny, a keeper of vows, and a living echo of fractured choices across worlds. Writing him meant balancing myth and realism: he had to feel tangible, with the weight and grace of a real horse, yet also luminous, carrying the aura of memory and spirit.

The challenge was giving him a voice without words. His presence had to speak through silence, through Rudra’s dreams, and through the spiral motif that binds the worlds together. At the same time, he was the most fun to write because every scene with Meghraj carried cinematic energy: his stride became a heartbeat of destiny, his gaze a mirror of Rudra’s fractured soul.

Q: What do you hope readers carry with them after the last page?

A: At its core, Where Worlds Part explores the fragile balance between choice and destiny. A single wrong decision in one world can fracture the spirit across dimensions, showing how deeply our actions ripple beyond what we see.

Q: Did your own life find its way into the story?

A: Yes. Several personal experiences shaped the motifs in Where Worlds Part. Growing up near Korlai Beach, I often felt the pull of landscapes that seemed to hold echoes of forgotten stories. That sense of standing at a threshold between silence and memory became the foundation for Rudra’s journey.

Dreams also played a role: recurring images of trains leaving stations, spirals carved into stone, and a black horse named Meghraj became anchors in the narrative. These were not just symbols. They felt like fragments of another reality bleeding into this one.

Finally, my own transition from professional life into storytelling influenced the characters’ search for meaning. Rudra’s fractured spirit, Niya’s quiet conviction, and Veeraj’s ambition all echo the tension between duty, silence, and the longing to find one’s true path.

A: I wish readers would ask: “What does it mean when a single wrong choice fractures the spirit across worlds?”

My answer: it means that our decisions are never isolated. They ripple into unseen dimensions, shaping not only our own path but the echoes of who we might have been. In Where Worlds Part, the fractured spirit is both a metaphor and a reality. Silence hides the wound, echoes reveal the distortion, and the journey becomes about healing across parallel timelines. Q: Do you have a favorite moment from the book?

A: One of my favorite moments is when Rudra first encounters Meghraj in the dream-world spiral. “Ride with me, Meghraj,” the whispered line echoes, though the horse never speaks aloud. In that silence, Rudra feels both the fracture of his spirit and the possibility of healing across worlds.

This moment captures the essence of the novel: the tension between silence and echoes, the weight of choice, and the haunting beauty of a destiny that rides alongside us even when unseen.

Q: What is next in the saga, and beyond it?

A: After Where Worlds Part, I am continuing to expand the saga of parallel worlds and fractured spirits. My next focus is on EchoMap Journeys, weaving the mythic motifs of silence, echoes, and homecoming into new narratives that blend reincarnation, memory, and destiny.

Future projects will deepen Rudra’s journey, explore Veeraj’s Spiral Trials, and expand the role of Meghraj as a soul anchor across timelines.
